A Business Operations and Project Management Freelancer with almost a decade of experience working with clients ranging from solo entrepreneurs just reaching 6 figures to multi-7-figure companies in creating stability, sustainability, and/or scalability within their businesses.
Your business is fine, but it’s not consistent and everything feels a little chaotic. You want to solve for the chaos and gain predictability.
Your business is thriving but it’s taking ALL of your time. You want to get yourself more out of the day-to-day and prepare for growth without burning yourself to the ground.
Your business is running, you have a team and systems/processes in place, things feel sustainable… and now you want to crank it up a notch to scale.
In a past life (and in my spare time now), I was a performer in a band. I’ve been on tours, played festivals, recorded on several people’s albums, and even have my own music on streaming platforms.
The coolness level of some of the things I’ve experienced is high, but it was something I didn’t 100% feel was my calling. (Cue the scene in “School of Rock” where the newly appointed keys player says the iconic phrase “People in bands are cool… I’m not cool”.)
Music is my Zone of Excellence, and damn it’s fun when I get to exercise those muscles, but mostly I get to draw from the valuable and applicable lessons that time in my life taught me.
I had a conversation once with someone I performed with when I was pretty early on in my Operations career and still actively gigging. We were talking about our shared uncommon Type A personalities within the music performance industry, and how there are many instances where we felt out of the loop or couldn’t show up as our best performer selves because just getting enough information to show up was difficult.
Just shooting the shit with a peer. Something we all do or have done in one way or another.
Yet, I went on and on about how I created systems and processes all the time in my “day job” to house data and all that we needed to solve this problem for everyone was to make the information available in a centralized location. And, in fact, I already had several ideas on how to streamline the whole process for the band.
I also went on to mention that I didn’t understand why the band leader wouldn’t want this for us because they had to continuously give the information multiple times to make sure everyone caught it.
That was the exact moment I knew that Operations was my Zone of Genius, and that “day job” would be my career.
I did go on to create that system and the band leader no longer had to reconfirm gig details over and over again, and we as band members knew exactly when and where to show up.
I saw the pain points, identified the core problem, created an action plan to create a solution, presented it to leadership, adjusted the plan to make it accessible for the business’s needs, built it all out, and then shared it with the team and made adjustments as we went.
This is just one example of how Operations is powerful in business.
Imagine how much time and energy that system and process saved not only the band leader but the band themselves, too.
Imagine how much less risk there now was for someone in the band to miss a performance or call time.
Imagine what all that time, energy, and decreased risk saved the band leader in $$$!
You see, Operations is….
And so much more that, in turn, optimizes a business’s resources.
Momentum can either grow your business or drive it into the ground…
The truth is that Operations can’t exist without an aligned vision from a Visionary that, in tandem with other departments and roles, supports the business’s growth.
Operations is not a replacement for effective…
…But rather a lever for increasing the overall value these efforts can bring to a business. Making them work more effectively and faster.
If you don’t have these areas up and running, then it might not be time to jump into the deep Operations work yet – but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t things that can be done to support what is in place or help identify areas of highest leverage for your business!
I’m always happy to connect and see what will be most impactful for your unique needs.
I also cover more topics around being a solo entrepreneur/freelancer/small business owner and Operations in the Entrepreneurial Space over on my blog.

I have strengths in several areas that are in both Operations and Operations adjacent spaces which brings a unique approach to my services.
I excel in Operations Strategy and Consulting, Infrastructure build-outs, Project/Team Management, and Administrative Support. Packaging and Stacking these strengths allows me to show up for my clients depending on the level of time and attention needed within these spaces.
You get fractional support in all the key areas of Operational need within one person that matches the level of Operations your business is demanding!
I offer my services in three core ways… all of which are based on availability and subject to change based on your individual business’s needs upon initial conversations.
This is specifically for Strategy Packages including:
I do not offer ongoing hourly rates a la carte. Only as hourly relates to one of the Offers above.
If we decide a shorter-term or custom contract is the best next step together, we can work on a project-by-project basis.
Typically Project Contracts are scoped and quoted after an initial “By Hour” Strategy Package. This can also be a supportive option for sub-contracting purposes.
Providing value and supporting you is my highest priority. On a retainer basis, I can meet you where you are and match the needs of you and your biz completely while leaving enough flexibility to adapt and continue holding space for your overall vision.
Retainer scopes and rates depend on the time and attention needed within my offered services.
Here’s real feedback shared with me from real clients past and present.
Please note that every relationship I have with a client/business is a unique experience and positive reflections are the outcome of open communication, honesty, mutual respect, and professionalism.
